Preparation

Front
Panel
Display
The front panel display of each
unit
contains
LEDs (or small lights)
and
associated icons that
give information
and
warning about the unit's
operation. The front panel display also has
an
Alarm Silence/Reset button. The front panel
display is described in more detail in the
Operation Section.
User
Controls
The user controls briefly described below are
located
on
the
rear panel of the UPS
and
are
common to all models. See Section
2,
Installa-
tion,
and
Section 3, Operation, for more detailed
descriptions.
UPS
ON/OFF
Switch
This switch is located
on
the lower right side of
the rear of each unit
and
turns
the
UPS on and
off.
Setup
DIP
Switches
-
All PowerRite Pro UPSs have a set of DIP
Switches located
on
the rear panel. DIP Switches
are set
by
the user to configure the
UPS.
Communication
Port
Also located
on
all rear panels is the
Communication Port
(DB-9
female connector).
