Overview

The DEPSTECH DS630 is a high-performance steerable industrial endoscope designed to improve work efficiency in various industrial applications. It features a 5-inch IPS HD display, allowing for clear viewing of inspections. The device is equipped with a camera that can record video and capture photos, which can be saved to a TF memory card (Micro-SD card). The camera utilizes a high-performance CMOS chip and Bluart 3.0 technology to support high frame rates, ensuring clear images for industrial maintenance, equipment maintenance, mechanical maintenance, and design fields.

Function Description

The DS630 endoscope is primarily used for visual inspection in hard-to-reach areas. It allows users to record video and take photos during inspections, providing a visual record for analysis and documentation. The steerable probe, which can turn 210°, offers enhanced maneuverability, enabling comprehensive inspections of complex internal structures. The device's ability to save media to a TF card facilitates easy transfer and review of inspection data.

Usage Features

The endoscope is designed for intuitive operation. To power on/off the device, users press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. After powering on, a quick click of the power button adjusts the lens light. Photos can be taken with a single click of the photo/video button, while video recording is initiated by holding the button for 2 seconds and stopped with another click. A red LED indicator flashes during charging and remains solid when fully charged, providing clear status updates.

The steering wheel allows for precise control of the camera angle by sliding it up and down. A menu button provides access to various settings with a short press, and on dual-lens models, a long press switches between the main and side cameras. The device includes zoom-in and zoom-out buttons for adjusting the image in the preview interface and navigating menus. An image rotation button allows for 180° rotation of the live image and serves as a back button in the menu interface.

For charging and data transfer, the DS630 features a Type-C port. It supports TF cards up to 32 GB, which should be formatted before first use. A reset button is available to shut down the device if needed.

The preview interface displays important information such as photo/video recording status, probe temperature, battery level, TF card status, screen rotation, and a timestamp. The album interface shows file numbers, photography date, current playback duration, total video duration, resolution, and file size.

The device's default language is English, but it can be switched to other supported languages through the menu settings. Photos and videos can be viewed in the album, where users can also delete files individually or all at once. The TF card can be formatted directly through the device's menu.

Maintenance Features

To ensure optimal performance and longevity, several maintenance guidelines are provided. The battery should be charged every 3 months, regardless of use, to extend its life. Users are warned against replacing the internal battery themselves due to potential overheating and personal injury.

The camera probe is a high-precision electronic device and should not be touched or pulled by the cable to prevent device failure. While the camera probe has an IP67 waterproof layer, the main body of the device is not waterproof, requiring caution to prevent scratches. The probe is not resistant to high temperatures; therefore, it is crucial to ensure that internal combustion engines or other high-temperature equipment have cooled down before inspection to avoid damaging the equipment.

The exposed metal parts of the product are conductive, so contact with live circuits should be avoided. In case of damage, users should not attempt to disassemble the equipment themselves but should contact the seller or supplier for professional repair. Children should not use the device without adult guidance.

The equipment should be operated within an ambient temperature range of 32~113°F (0~45°C) and stored in a dry, clean, oil-free, water-free, and chemical liquid-free environment.

Users are advised to read the instructions carefully before use to avoid injury. Unauthorized disassembly of the product is strictly prohibited, as the manufacturer will not be liable for any damage caused. The camera probe should not be overbent, with a bending limit of one cycle for the snake tube. Twisting or pulling the camera probe at the front of the snake tube is also prohibited. Before pulling out the snake tube, ensure the steering wheel is returned to the centered position and avoid turning it violently.

Files can be copied to a computer either by directly using a TF card reader or by connecting the device to a PC via a Type-C data cable. When connecting to a computer, users must select the data transfer mode and confirm to copy photos and videos. The device automatically exits data transfer mode and returns to the image preview interface once the Type-C cable is unplugged.

Recharging involves connecting the device to a DC 5V adapter. The red indicator light flashes during charging and turns solid when fully charged.
