Connecting to the App – Smart Life
1. Plug the heater into mains supply suitable for a BS plug.
2. Switch the heater on via the power switch on the right-hand side of the unit (when front
facing). Note: you do not need to switch the unit on via the power button (9) to
connect the device to the Smart Life app.
3. Download / open the Smart Life Application. (For new members go to step 4, existing
users see step 5).
4. Register an account by entering a username/email address and memorable password.
Then sign-in to your account with these credentials.
5. Go to the ‘All Devices’ section of your app and press the + icon in the top right-hand
corner of the screen to add a new device.
6. You will then see a list of product categories on the left-hand side of the screen. Click
Small Home Appliances.
7. You then need to select ‘Heater’. Note: do not select Heater (BLE), Heater (Zigbee) or
Heater (Other).
8. You will then be prompted to enter the Wi-Fi Network details that you wish to connect

press Next.
9. The app will then prompt you to confirm that the Wi-Fi icon on your heater is flashing. If

scanning window. If possible, try to keep the heater, device with the application and the
Wi-Fi router in proximity whilst it is connecting.
11. Once the device is found and connected you can change the name of it by clicking the
pencil icon. You can also select a room that you want to associate the device with.
