INTENDED USE
This bench grinder is ideal for use in sharpening
chisels, axes and other wood-cutting tools. It is also
useful for repairing tips on screwdrivers and drill bits
or for removing excess metal burrs from pieces of
cut metal. With the proper accessories, this tool can
be used for cleaning metal surfaces using a wire
brush or for buffing and polishing using a cloth wheel
Never use this bench grinder for cut-off operations
DO NOT use under wet conditions or in presence of
flammable liquids or gases.
This grinder is professional power tool.
DO NOT let children come into contact with the
tool. Supervision is required when inexperienced
operators use this tool.

Electrical Safety
The electric motor has been designed for one
voltage only. Always check that the power supply
corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Using an Extension Cable
An extension cord should not be used unless
absolutely necessary. Use an approved extension
cable suitable for the power input of your charger
(see Technical Data). The minimum conductor size
is 1 mm
2
; the maximum length is 30 m.
When using a cable reel, always unwind the cable
completely.
ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS
WWARNING: To reduce the risk of
injury, turn unit off and disconnect
machine from power source before
installing and removing accessories,
before adjusting or changing set-
ups or when making repairs. Be sure
the trigger switch is in the OFF position.
An accidental start-up can cause injury.
Bench mounting
1. The grinder should be unplugged.
2. Position grinder on workbench. Check for
the availability of power for the grinder. Mark
location of holes for drilling.
3. Drill appropriate sized holes.
4. Insert ¼” (6mm) Hex head bolts through
washers and the holes. You may want to use
washers on the underside of the bench as well.
5. Tighten the nuts. Do not overtighten. Allow the
rubber feet to absorb the vibration when the
grinder is running.
Installing eye shield and mounting of
spark guard(fig. 2)
Turn off tool and disconnect from power supply.
Adjust the eye shields so they are between the
wheels and your eyes.
NOTE: Eye shields are not designed to replace
safety glasses.
Mounting of spark guard
1. Loosen screw (b) (do not remove it).
2. Regularly check the distance between spark
guard (a) and the grinding wheel (max. 2 mm)
and re-adjust, if necessary.
