3. Charging
The top area of the charging port allows for AC charging. Using the
top and bottom areas of the port in combination allows for DC rapid
charging up to 40kW.
You will nd a wide range of availability for these charging points across
the UK charging network. Your van comes with a charging cable, so
you can use both ‘tethered’ (charging point with cable included) and
‘untethered’ (charging point without cable) charging points.
Please note, using only rapid charging will have a detrimental eect
on the lifespan of the vehicle’s battery. It is best practice to use a mix
of charging types and to avoid running your battery down below 20%
where possible.
It is recommended to carry out an AC charge at least once a week to
maintain battery cell balance.
