The charging cable on the DFSK EC35 is ‘locked’ into place during the
charging operation.
Should the cable remain ‘locked’ and fail to release on completion of the
charging operation, you can release it by:
• Releasing the retaining clips and raising the drivers seat base to
access the rear of the charging socket assembly.
• Locating the red coloured emergency release tab and pressing it in a
downwards direction – this should not require force.
If the release tab does not move easily, or the cable is still ‘locked’ with
the tab pushed down contact your breakdown provider for assistance.
Do not use excessive force to try and remove the cable or operate the
emergency release lever.
Once the lever has been depressed, you should be able to remove the
charging cable.
When the vehicle’s central locking has been activated, the charging
cable lock will be reset.
