3. Press the Navigation buttons to the right or to the left until you reach the Capture mode menu on
LCD monitor.
4. Select the function you want from the menu by pressing the Navigation buttons up or down:
a. Single: This allows you to take a still image.
i. Select “Single” .
ii. A camera
icon will appear on the LCD monitor.
iii. Press the shutter- one photo will be taken.
b. Video: This allows you to capture video.
i. Select “Video”.
ii. A video
icon will appear on LCD monitor.
iii. Press Shutter button- the camera is will start capturing video.
iv. To stop capturing, press the shutter again. (The capturing process will stop if
the memory is full).
c. Exit: Choose EXIT to return to the Normal mode without making any changes
5. Press the Menu button to keep the new setting and Exit the menu.
Taking Photos
Hold the camera steadily and press the shutter button to take photo. The flash Indicator light will turn red and
there will be a short delay while the camera saves the photo to memory. Do not move the camera until you
can see through the LCD again. The number of photos left to shoot is displayed in the upper left corner of the
LCD monitor when you are in the Normal mode.
When the camera’s memory is full, the number of photos left, in the upper left corner of the LCD monitor will
display “0” and the message “Memory Full” will appear. If you attempt to take a photo when the memory is full
the camera will “beep” continuously. The photo will not be stored once the memory is full. Download photos to
computer, change an SD memory card or delete photos (either one or all).
Note: The photo counter displayed at the upper left hand side of the screen was designed to count the photos
based on the memory capacity remaining. Therefore, the counter will go down according to the complexity of
the photo and will skip numbers when high resolution photos are taken. In addition, photos should be
downloaded when the counter goes down to 1.
