Setting the Digital Zoom
The Digital Zoom feature lets you zoom in on an image showing on the LCD monitor and then save the
zoomed in image.
1. Set camera to Playback mode.
2. Choose the picture you would like to zoom into: (use the shutter button to toggle between Thumbnail
view and Full Screen view)
a. In thumbnail view:
i. Use the Navigation buttons the move left, right, up and down to choose the
photo you wish to zoom into.
ii. Press the Display button to select the photo. To toggle between pictures, press
the Navigation buttons to the left or the right.
iii. Press the Navigation buttons up to zoom into the photo (up to 4x magnification)
or down to zoom out of the photo. The LCD monitor will display the zoom
setting.
iv. Once you are satisfied with the zoom setting, press the Display once. The
letters PAN will appear on the top left of the LCD monitor. The PAN mode lets
you move around the picture to find the object you wish to zoom on.
v. To exit the PAN mode press the Menu button and select “Exit PAN” by pressing
the Navigation buttons downwards.
b. In Full View mode:
i. To toggle between pictures, press the Navigation buttons to the left or the right.
ii. Press the Navigation buttons up to zoom into the photo (up to 4x magnification)
or down to zoom out of the photo. The LCD monitor will display the zoom
setting.
iii. Once you are satisfied with the zoom setting, press the Display button once.
The letters PAN will appear on the top left of the LCD monitor. The PAN mode
lets you move around the picture to find the object you wish to zoom on.
iv. To exit the PAN mode press the Menu button and select “Exit PAN” by pressing
the Navigation buttons downwards.
The LCD monitor will display the zoom setting:
