Cabinet Modeling (CIT
TM
)
The CF-7 has built-in CIT™ cabinet modeling that can be enabled. This
is a useful tool when running a distortion pedal into the CF-7 and then
running direct into a mixer or recorder. This creates a guitar-through-an-
amplifier sound without having to use a guitar amp.
To Enable CIT™ Cabinet Modeling:
Press the pedal down and apply power (connect a guitar cable to the
CF-7 input or connect a PS200R power supply to the power supply jack).
To Disable CIT Cabinet Modeling:
Power down the CF-7 (disconnect guitar cable from the Input jack, or
disconnect the PS200R power supply).
Note that CIT cabinet modeling is disabled each time you turn off the
CF-7. To use CIT cabinet modeling, it must be enabled each time you ap-
ply power to the CF-7.
