Why is my Digittrade HS128 Storage drive performing very slowly?

  Your Digittrade Storage drive might be performing slowly due to several reasons. First, ensure your HS128 / HS256 is connected to a USB 2.0 bus interface. Also, use the USB-Y-cable provided and connect both the A- and B-plugs to your computer. Make sure the USB and FireWire cable is properly connected to your computer. If the HS128/256 is plugged into a USB hub, connect it directly to your computer. Finally, try disconnecting other USB devices connected to the same port to see if performance improves.

  If the numberpad on your Digittrade Storage is inactive, ensure that the USB connector is firmly connected to your computer’s USB port, or if you are using Firewire, ensure that the Firewire connector is firmly connected to the computer’s Firewire port.
