What to do if the main lamps aren't working, and there are no flames or smoke in my Dimplex Indoor Fireplace?
    • L
      Leslie CrossSep 10, 2025
If the main lamps aren't working and there are no flames or smoke, it could be due to no water in the water tank. Refill the water tank following the instructions under Maintenance, ‘Filling the water tank’. Also, check that the plug is correctly connected to the wall socket and that Switch ‘A’ is in the ‘ON’ position.

How to fix a low flame effect on a Dimplex Indoor Fireplace?
    • S
      Steve TaylorSep 12, 2025
If the flame effect is too low on your Dimplex Indoor Fireplace: * Increase the flame level by slowly turning the Control knob to the left. * The Metal Disc in the transducer might be dirty; clean the Metal Disc with the soft brush supplied. * Ensure the wire from the Transducer Unit is directed to the back of the sump and sits in the side slot exiting the sump; if it's sitting over the metal disc, this can cause a problem.

How to reduce excessive smoke from the Dimplex Indoor Fireplace flame effect?
    • D
      dustinsullivanSep 14, 2025
If the flame effect has too much smoke, the flame effect setting might be too high. Turn the flame effect Control knob to the right, about ¼ of a turn at a time, and allow the flame generator some time to adjust to the new setting.
