P8 – Reset to factory settings
Resets all settings made by the user to the preset fac-
tory settings.
 Press and hold the MENU key for approx. three
seconds.
The display switches to the main menu.
 Press and hold the MENU key and  key for ap-
prox. three seconds.
 Press the  key. Display P8 flashes.
 Press the ENTER key. OFF flashes.
 Press the  key. ON flashes.
 Press the ENTER key. Program is reset to factory
settings.
NOTE

The current time, the date and the summer/winter
time function must then be reset, see „Setting the
time and date“ on page 21.
9.4. Key lock
This function can be used to block the control ele-
ments for unauthorised persons.
 Press and hold the  and  keys simultaneously
for five seconds.
The KEY LOCK symbol appears in the display.
 To unlock the keys, press and hold the  and 
keys again for five seconds.
The KEY LOCK symbol disappears from the dis-
play.
