CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING THE PRE-FILTER
The pre-lter is located inside the dust bin. Check the pre-lter
frequently and clean when dirty. Make sure the dust bin is free
of any debris before opening.
Open the dust bin lid and remove dual layer felt lter and
primary lter .
Lift up the pre-lter from the dust bin using the plastic tab .
Clean off hair and other debris wrapped around the pre-lter.
Clean the pre-lter by gently tapping over a trash container.
Tap on sides several times ensure best cleaning.
If necessary, rinse the pre-lter with cold water only.
DO NOT USE DETERGENT OR SOAP. Set the pre-lter aside
and allow to air dry for 24 hours. DO NOT WASH IN THE
DISHWASHER. DO NOT INSTALL DAMP.
Reinstall the pre-lter into the dust bin . Make sure the
pre-lter is set into place as shown.
CLEANING THE FOAM FILTER
It is recommended to clean the foam lter with cold water every three (3)
months. The foam lter is located on the top of the oor head.
Remove the dust bin assembly completely.
Remove foam lter from the oor head.
Wash with cold water only. DO NOT USE DETERGENT OR SOAP.
Squeeze dry by hand and allow to air dry for 24 hours before
putting back into vacuum cleaner.
Replace foam lter into the vacuum cleaner.
Reinstall the dust bin (see instructions in Emptying Dust Bin).

NOTE: When the cleaning of the foam lter no longer restores vacuum
cleaner suction to full power, or the foam lter is worn or broken,
replace the lter to keep the vacuum’s suction power optimal.
