When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following:

• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
• Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors,
or dropped into water, return it to a service center or dispose of it according to your local waste and disposal guidelines.
• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do
not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
The unit should be placed or mounted away from sinks and hot surfaces.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that
may reduce air ow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, ngers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not use to pick up ammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
• Do not pick up toxic material (i.e. chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.)
• Do not vacuum toner (for laser printer, copy machines etc.) as there is a risk of re and explosion.
• Do not vacuum plaster, cement etc. as the lter can become blocked.
• Do not use the vacuum without all the lters tted.
• Do not operate outdoors. This appliance is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
• Do not operate on wet oor or moist conditions (e.g bathroom. Water and moisture could damage the circuit board).
• Do not handle plug with wet hands.
• Use extra caution when cleaning on stairs.
• Plug the plug directly into an electrical outlet.
• Use the plug only in a standard electrical outlet (120V/60Hz).
• Unplug the plug from outlet before any routine cleaning or maintenance.
• Do not look into the air vents when the unit is switched on, as sometimes small debris can be discharged,
especially after cleaning or replacing the lter.
• Do not leave appliance unattended when plugged in.
• Do not allow appliance to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
• Turn off the switch before unplugging.
