FILTER
Foam Rlter Care: Follow these steps to extend the life of your foam filter.
WET
PICK-UP:
1.
Pleated CaMge alter (not avallable on
all
mdels)
Use carMdne filter alone.
DO NOT
USE
over
the
foam filter. 1. Remow tank cover
and place upside down
2.
Side cartridge fitter over filter cage until cartridge
is
against
the tank cover. Secure retainer disc on cartridge
with
Wing bolt. (Diagram
1)
Replace
filter
if
there are
tears
or holes.
Vacuuming Uqulds:
1.
After using the vac to pick up liquids, the filter must
be
dried to
avoid possible mildew and damage to the filter. Remove the filter from the unit to air
dry. 2.Filter
may
be
cleaned
by
rinsing from the inside out
with
running water or
with
a mild solution of soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
3.
When the
'
liquid in the tank reaches a pre-determined level, the float mechanism
will
rise auto-
matically to cut off airflow. When this happens, tum
off
the vac, unplug the power cord,
and empty the tank You
will
know that the float has risen because
vac
airflow ceases
and the motor noise
will
become higher in pitch, due to the increased motor speed.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damafje to the
vac
do not run motor
with
flat in
raised
position.

filter over cage until
foam
fil-
ter
is
against tank cover.
2.
Place mounding runk over
the
foam filter. Pusli ring
towads tank cover.

is
for storage of your mounting ring.
