Recycling Your Original Receiver

Open the front panel on the
receiver.
b.
If your receiver has a Smart Card,
remove it from the receiver and
continue to Step 9c. If your receiver
does not have a Smart Card, go to
Step 9d.
c.
Destroy the Smart Card by cutting
the card lengthwise through the
main chip.
d.
Visit mydish.com/recycle or dish.com/redirects/promotion/recycle to dispose of your
equipment in an environmentally responsible manner at an electronics recycler near
you. Do not return your receiver, Smart Card, or other equipment to DISH.
Only complete this step if you did not see your receiver number in Step 8.
