COIN MECH TROUBLESHOOTING FLOW CHART MC-5000 (MICRO MECHS)
All Coin Mechs
Enter service mode and
advance to “c-d”.

Depress button 1. Did
mech dispense a coin?
Exit service menu and
diagnostics and advance
to “cn”.
Check F3 1A fuse.
Insert 1 quarter, dime,
and nickel into coin
mech.
Press button 2. Did
mech dispense all coins?
Exit diagnostics menu &
enter standby mode.
Place enough coins in
mech to make change
after a vend.
Did mech dispense
coins?
Problem resolved.
Check coin mech
harness for
continuity.
Is harness O.K.?
Is fuse O.K.? Replace 1A fuse.
Replace coin mech
harness.
Check coin mech with
known good mech.
