OPERATION GUIDELINES
STOPPING THE WOOD CHIPPER
1. Press the safety shut-o bar on the feed chute.
OR
2. Move the throttle lever to “IDLE”.
3. RECOIL START: Slide the gas lever to the left to shut engine o.
4. ELECTRIC START: Turn the key to the “OFF” position.
NOTICE: Wood diameter should be no bigger than 6 inches.
NOTE: If the drum jams with wood under the drum, remove the drum shaft side shield and
turn the drum counter-clockwise. It may be necessary to remove the drive belts for severe
jams to relieve resistance on the direct drive system to make the drum easier to turn and
free up.
