• Do not open the refrigerator more often than necessary.
• Do not leave the doors open for longer than necessary.
• Defrost your refrigerator as soon as a layer of ice forms.
• Avoid unnecessarily low temperature settings.
• Arrange the food in the refrigerator so that air can circulate inside.
• Leave a distance of about 10 mm between the contents and secondary
evaporator.
6.3 Operating in low outdoor temperatures

➤ Mount the LS300 winter covers (accessory) for the ventilation grille.
➤ Check regularly whether the ventilation grille is free of leaves, snow or similar
objects.
Winter cover in AC operation, DC operation

➤ Install both winter covers as shown in fig. 6, page 6.
Winter cover in automatic mode, gas operation

➤ Only install the winter cover on the lower ventilation grille as shown in fig. 6,
page 6.
NOTE
Cold air can restrict the performance of the unit. Attach the winter covers
if you experience a reduced cooling capacity at low ambient tempera-
tures. This protects the unit from excessively cold air that might other-
wise restrict its performance.
NOTE
If a roof vent is installed, only the lower winter cover must be installed.
NOTICE!
Do not install the upper winter cover during gas operation. This pre-
vents heat from building up and the fumes from the refrigerator can be
extracted properly.
