7Operation
7.1 Before first use
Before first use, clean the wine cooler inside and outside with a damp cloth for
hygienic reasons (see also chapter “Cleaning and maintenance” on page 28).
7.2 Storing bottles
Please note the following:
Only store wine in wine bottles that are closed and still sealed.
Do not overload the wine cooler.
Do not cover the shelves with aluminium foil or any other objects, as this
obstructs the air circulation.
After a power failure or if the wine cooler has been switched off, wait 3 to
5 minutes before switching on the wine cooler again.
Position the bottles as shown in fig. e, page 10 to fig. g, page 11.
7.3 Saving energy
Only open the wine cooler as often and for as long as necessary.
Avoid unnecessarily low temperature settings.
For optimal energy consumption, position the shelves and drawers according to
their position on delivery.
On a regularly basis, make sure the door seal still fits properly.
Clean dust and dirt from the condenser at regular intervals.
