8 Troubleshooting
If you are unable to solve a problem yourself, get in touch with a service agent.
Fault Possible cause Remedy
The wine cooler does
not work.
The wine cooler is not connected
to a power supply.
➤ Connect the wine
cooler.
The wine cooler is switched off. ➤ Switch the wine cooler
on.
The circuit breaker or fuse has
blown.
➤ Switch on the circuit
breaker; switch on or
replace the fuse.
The wine cooler is not
cold enough.
The temperature is not set properly. ➤ Check the set tempera-
ture.
The ambient temperature could
require a higher temperature set-
ting.
➤ Set a higher tempera-
ture.
The door was opened frequently. ➤ Do not open the door
more often than neces-
sary.
The door was not closed properly. ➤ Close the door properly.
The door is not hermetically
sealed.
➤ Check the door seal and
clean or replace.
The wine cooler
switches itself on and
off.
The room temperature is higher
than average.
➤ Put the wine cooler in a
cooler place.
The cabinet was recently replen-
ished with new bottles.
➤ Leave the wine cooler to
work for a while until the
set temperature has
been reached.
The door was opened frequently. ➤ Do not open the door
more often than neces-
sary.
The door was not closed properly. ➤ Close the door properly.
The door is not hermetically
sealed.
➤ Check the door seal and
clean or replace it.
