6.1 Components
The refrigerant circuit of the under-bench air conditioner consists of the fol-
lowing main components (fig. 1, page 3):
z Compressor (1)
The compressor draws in the refrigerant used and compresses it. This
raises the pressure and therefore the temperature of the refrigerant.
z Condenser (2)
The built-in liquefier works like a cooler or heat exchanger. The air flow-
ing past absorbs the heat and the hot refrigerant gas cools down and
becomes liquid.
z Evaporator (3)
The evaporators cool down and dehumidify the air flowing past them.
The refrigerant absorbs the heat and vaporises.
Blower (4)
A blower distributes the cooled or heated air within the vehicle through
an air outlet unit.
6.2 Receiver
The receiver (fig. 2, page 3) contains the following control and display
elements:
In case of an alarm the display shows an error code to identify the fault:
No. Explanation
1 Digital display Displays the room temperature.
2 Red LED The under-bench air conditioner is switched on.
3 Blue LED The under-bench air conditioner is in night mode.
4 Green LED The compressor is working.
5 Yellow LED Constantly lit: the timer mode is switched on
Flashing: the ventilation is temporarily suspended
Code Explanation
E1 Air sensor or wire broken
E2 Evaporator tube sensor or wire broken
E7 Communication fault between PCB and PCB Display
