Why is my Dometic Refrigerator not cooling enough?
    • D
      Diana BradleyJul 28, 2025
There are several reasons why your Dometic Refrigerator might not be cooling sufficiently: - The ventilation to the unit may be inadequate. Check that the ventilation grille of the cooling unit is not covered. - The thermostat setting may be too low. Set the thermostat to a higher level. - The condenser may be heavily frosted. Make sure that the refrigerator door closes properly. - Too much warm food may have been stored inside within a short period. Allow warm food to cool down before storage. - The appliance may have been running for only a short period. Check whether the cooling compartment works after approximately 4 - 5 hours. - Ambient temperatures may be too high. Ventilate the room.
