5 Intended use
Refrigerators RM5310, RM5330 and RM5380 are designed for installation in
caravans or motorhomes. They are designed solely for the cooling and stor-
age of food. The refrigerators are not designed for the proper storage of med-
ication.
The refrigerators are designed for operation on a 12 Vg voltage source and
on a 220 – 240 Vw mains supply, and can be independently powered by
liquefied petroleum gas (propane or butane). The refrigerators may not be
operated with natural gas or town gas.
6 Technical description
6.1 Description
The refrigerator is an absorption refrigerator. The device is designed to oper-
ate with different types of energy and can be operated with 220 – 240 Vw,
12 Vg or with butane/propane gas.
The device has a locking mechanism to protect it during transport.
The unit is equipped with an automatic flame failure device which automati-
cally interrupts the gas supply after approx. 30 seconds if the flame goes out.
