The refrigerator is
providing inadequate
cooling.
The ventilation around
the cooling unit is insuf-
ficient.
Check that the ventilation
grilles are free.
The evaporator is iced
up.
Check whether the refrigerator
door closes properly. Defrost
the refrigerator.
The temperature has
been set too high.
Set a lower temperature.
The ambient tempera-
ture is too high.
Temporarily remove the venti-
lation grilles to allow the warm
air to escape more quickly.
Too much food has
been placed in the
refrigerator at the same
time.
Remove some of the food.
The refrigerator has
only been in operation
for a short time.
Check the temperature again
after 4–5hours.
