Plugged air passages, lack of lubricating oil (maintain the proper oil level in the lubricator), or a clouded inlet bushing screen can also diminish power. To resolve plugged air passages, disassemble the Pickhammer and clean out all ports and passages; to fix clouded inlet bushing screen, clean the screen in the Inlet Bushing Assembly.

Finally, a lack of lubricant or improper lubricating oil may be the cause, so ensure the lubricating oil reservoir is full of proper lubricant before operating the Pickhammer.
