Why is my Doosan DE08TS overheating?
- MMary RodriguezAug 3, 2025
Your Doosan Engine may be overheating due to several reasons. It could be due to a lack of coolant, which requires replenishing the coolant. Other potential causes include a weakened radiator cap pressure valve spring (replace the cap), a loosened, broken, or oil-fouled fan belt (adjust or replace the fan belt), a defective water pump (repair or replace), or an inoperative thermostat (replace the thermostat). Restrictions in water passages due to deposit of scales (clean radiator and water passages), incorrect injection timing (adjust injection timing correctly), a restriction in the radiator core (clean exterior of radiator) or gases leaking into the water jacket due to a broken cylinder head gasket (replace cylinder head gasket) can also cause the engine to overheat.
