2.1.3. Engine oil

Check oil level with the oil level gauge and replenish if necessary.
z
Check the oil level with the engine cooled. If the engine is warm, allow time for 5 ~ 10 minutes for oil drain
into the crankcase before checking oil level. The oil level must be between Max and Min. lines on the
gauge.
z
Engine oil should be changed at the specified intervals. Oil in the oil filter should be changed
simultaneously.
z
The following oils are also recommended
* If long oil change intervals are to be used, ACEA-E3 oil must be used.
