Assemble the connecting rod to the crankshaft and measure connecting rod big end side clearance using a
feeler gauge.

Assemble the connecting rod to the piston and measure connecting rod small end side clearance.
z
If the measured values are beyond the limit,
replace the connecting rod.
3.2.12. Fuel injection nozzle
z
Insert a seal ring and injection nozzle on the
cylinder head.
z
Measure the clearance between the cylinder
head bottom and nozzle tip. If the measured
values are beyond the limit, replace the seal
ring.
