can indicate debris in the system or the rotor assembly
is touching the housings.
Rotor Assembly Clearance –
Measure
Measure the shaft end play.

0.03 MIN 0.001
0.06 MAX 0.0024
Measure radial clearance of the shaft.
mm Radial Clearance (B) Inch
0.08 MIN 0.003
0.13 MAX 0.005
The turbocharger should be removed for replacement
or rebuild if the clearances are beyond these limits.
