Cell broadcast
You can receive messages on various topics from your service provider,
such as weather or traffic conditions in a particular region. For available
channels and relevant channel settings, contact your service provider. Cell
broadcast messages cannot be received when the device is roaming.
Press to read a cell broadcast message.
1. Press Menu Messages Settings Cell broadcast.
2. You can set the following settings:
Languages to select for what languages broadcast messages
should be displayed.
Channel settings for channel settings:
Check related channel to receive messages on that channel.
Press for channel handling:
Add channel to add a new channel to receive broadcast
messages on. Set channel number, title and press Save to
save and activate it.
Edit channel to edit the selected channel and press Save
when done.
Delete channel to delete the selected channel and press
Yes to confirm.
3. Press for options:
Forward to forward a message.
Delete to delete a message.
Settings for more options:
Note! Not all operators have the cell broadcast messaging function
activated in their network.
Emergency alert
Emergency alert is the generic term for the Public Warning Service based
upon Cell broadcast technology. You will receive a message if an authority
sends an alert message. This service is not available in all countries.
Inbox
1. Press Menu Messages Settings Emergency alert.
2. Select Inbox.
