1. In case of the blue glow (fluo-
res cen ce) in the vi ewing zone
is lost at start or whi le the
detector is in ser vi ce, pro bab ly
the ther mal pro tec tion of
the de tec tor is ac tu a ted. The
ther mal pro tec tion pre vents
fa i lu re of elec tro nics. Whi le it
is ac tu a ted, power sup ply of
the tube is off.
To reset the thermal protec-
tion, turn off the detector and
disconnect it from the wall
outlet for more than 3 min. If
the tube does not light up
when turning on again, it
should be replaced.
Replacement of the tube should
be performed by qualified ser-
vice personnel only.
