Connecting a gas analyzer
Condition: The adapter with safety valve
(8412448) must be in use.
Connecting the sample line
Connect the sample line to the adapter with
safety valve. In order to prevent condensate
from accumulating, the Luer Lock connector
must face upwards.
CAUTION
Risk of patient injury
When gas analyzers are being used, a blocked
inspiratory hose can lead to negative pressure in
the airways.
Only connect the sample line of the gas analyzer
using the adapter with safety valve (8412448).
