2. Triggering the Apnoea alarm message
− Activate ventilation mode CPAP/ASB
− Set the PEEP key to 10 mbar (10 cmH

O).
− Activate apnea ventilation.
− Set the alarm limit T
Apnoea
to 15 s.
After the apnea alarm time T
Apnoea
elapses, the alarm message
Apnoea is displayed. The alarm signal sounds. Savina activates
apnea ventilation.
− Steadily inflate and deflate the test lung to simulate spontaneous
breathing.
− Press the Alarm Reset key.
Savina ventilates again in ventilation mode CPAP/ASB.
