Remove the black protective cap from the attachment. If difficult, use an accessory shank to hold shaft.
Do not use the rotary tool shaft lock button, as it may cause internal damage to the attachment.
Remove housing cap, press shaft lock, unscrew collet nut, and remove the collet.
Set the collet nut and collet aside for reinstallation in step 4.
Install the drive adapter on the motor shaft and tighten it.
Tighten the drive adapter finger tight plus an additional 1/3 turn with the wrench.
Screw the attachment onto your rotary tool, hand tightening only.
Reassemble the collet and collet nut onto the output shaft of the attachment.
Orient the attachment in 12 positions for easy access to the speed control switch.
To reposition, unscrew collar, slide off, reposition, slide back on, and retighten collar.
Insert accessory shank, loosen collet nut, insert accessory deeply, and retighten collet nut.
