10. Create Vehicle to VER association
IMPORTANT STEP: Now that the VER is successfully installed and wiring connections have been confirmed, your next
step is to finalize the association between the vehicle and the VER with Lytx Technical Support.
A) Contact Lytx Technical Support at (866) 910-0403 or support@lytx.com and state that you are confirming a vehicle to
VER association.
B) Provide the following information:
1. Customer Name and Location
2. Company Vehicle/Asset Number (not VIN)
3. VER serial number (SN:) – (example: ER953C27 located on side of VER)
4. Vehicle Type – (example: Tractor trailer, Pickup truck, Sedan, etc.)
C) Wait for Technical Support to confirm the association.
11. Finishing up
DC3/DC3P Standard Installation is complete. Follow these steps to finish up:
A) Make sure the cable is tucked safely under the trim and cannot get pinched in the door jam or any moving parts.
B) Reaffirm that you have taken the appropriate safety precautions while working around vehicle airbags.
C) Finalize all electrical connections. Use cable-ties to bundle and secure all wires so they don’t come loose.
D) Keep the Torx wrench and this guide in a safe place for future use.
The DriveCam-equipped vehicle is ready to be placed in-service with the DriveCam Program.
