Stopping and braking
The rider must understand and follow the stopping and braking instructions below.
For any rider below the age of an adult (as defined by law), parental or adult supervision is
required at all times when the product is in use and the rider is following the stopping and braking
instructions below.
1) To stop the product safely, engage the brake by gradually releasing the ACCELERATOR LEVER
and depressing the BRAKE LEVER next to the left handlebar.
2) If the product is going at a higher speed, first LOWER the speed by GRADUALLY releasing the
accelerator lever, then release it entirely before depressing the brake lever.
3) Depressing the brake will disengage power to the motor.
4) Once the product has come to a complete stop at a safe location, the rider’s feet should be
lowered from the footpegs to the ground.
5) If the rider is disembarking from the product, first lower the kickstand to the ground, ensure that it
is all the way lowered, and gradually release the handlebars until the product is safely leaning
onto the kickstand.
6) After each use of the product, ensure that it is POWERED OFF safely by:
• Turning the ignition key to the OFF position, then removing the key.
• Flipping the power switch to the OFF position.
• Pressing the headlight switch (if on) to the OFF position.
• Following charging instructions on page 5.

Warnings:
1. Note that stopping and braking distance is affected by the speed of the product,
conditions of the riding surface, and variable environmental elements.
2. DO NOT RIDE ON STEEP ASCENTS OR DESCENTS. However, if the rider happens
to be riding on a descending path and needs to stop, DO NOT SUDDENLY DEPRESS
THE BRAKE LEVER with full force. Instead, LIGHTLY depress the brake lever
SEVERAL TIMES in sequence until a safe, flat location is reached where the brake
lever can be fully depressed and the product comes to a safe and complete stop.
