Both models are designed for use with water with a maximum temperature of 77° F (25°C). The pump must be connected to a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected plug and outlet, with a supply voltage of 120 VAC at 60 Hz.
The pump is intended for stationary installation, either with a fixed pipeline or a flexible hose pipe. It should not be suspended by its delivery pipe or power cord but rather suspended from its handle or placed on the bottom of the basin.
