4. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
5. Pull the recoil starter grip lightly untilresistance is felt, then pull it briskly.
Do not allow the recoil starter grip to snap back against the engine.
Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter.
6. If the choke lever was moved to the CLOSED position to start the engine,
gradually move it to the OPEN position as the engine warms up.

After starting the engine, move the throttle lever to the FAST position for self-
