Use and maintenance manual
Before you remove the wheel you
need to slightly extend the rear
derailleur cage, so as to leave room
for the cassette sprocket and enable
the wheel to easily come out from the
frame.
By keeping the cage of the derailleur
extended, as shown in the picture, we
can now remove the wheel.
Like with the front wheel, the spacer
must be positioned between the pads
of the brake calliper.
Warning!
When putting the bicycle on the
ground (or on any surface) after
the wheels have been removed,
make sure it does not lie on the
rear derailleur.
Ignoring this warning may
damage both the derailleur
and the frame’s support,
thus undermining the
shifting performances on the
transmission system.
