It is constructed from kiln-dried, untreated softwood logs (except for the bearers, which are pressure-treated) that interlock to form the walls. The cabin features a pitched roof, a single glass door, a low-top garage door, and a standard window. The design allows for natural movement of the timber over time, with specific installation techniques to accommodate this characteristic.
