Assemble one half of the diff fi rst. Next,
install the internal gears with shims. Fill the
differential with 20,000 oil or higher so it is
3/4 full. Install the other side.

Note: When installing the bearings, make
sure they are fully seated. If the bearings are
not fully seated the gearbox halves may not
properly fi t together or may cause binding.
