The machine must be switched o and unplugged
for cleaning and maintenance. Fluids should not
come into contact with the motor.
The ne lter should be changed at least once per
year. Use only original spare parts. The microlter/
HEPA lter, should be changed every 300 running
hours.
NOTE! Do not use any tool/instrument when
replacing the lter, as this may damage the
lter’s sealing surface.
Use breathing protection during a lter change.
The operation should be performed in a closed
area. Used lters should be sealed in a plastic
sack and disposed of properly.
Check regularly that the electrical cable is not
damaged.
The DC Tromb 400 should be performance tested
at least once per year because it may be used with
hazardous materials. Worn parts must be repla-
ced. Never compromise the function of the DC
Tromb 400, use only original spare parts.
For vacuum motor the typical average life of the
original brushes is 600 - 700 hours. They can then
be exchanged or complete motor/fan replaced.
For 2nd brush set life is ca. 400 hours and for 3rd
brush set ca. 300 hours. After that the commutator
is worn out and the motor needs to be replaced.

The warranty period for this machine is two years
and covers manufacturers faults. The warranty is
valid under the condition that the machine is used
under normal conditions on the task for which it
was designed and is maintained properly. Normal
wear is not covered by this warranty.
Warranty
Service performed by other than Dustcontrol or its
authorized agent voids automatically the warranty.
No other warranty express or implied is applicable.
