What to do if the burner will not light with a match on my Dyna-Glo Grill?
    • C
      cathyboyleAug 11, 2025
If the burner on your Dyna-Glo Grill won't light with a match, first, ensure the match is reaching the burners by using the match holder found in the cabinet door. An empty tank could also be the cause, so check the fuel level and refill if necessary. A poor connection between the valve regulator and LP cylinder coupling might also be the issue; turn off the grill knobs, close the LP cylinder valve, and check the connection, disconnecting and reconnecting if needed. Lastly, a blocked burner inlet could be the problem; clean the burner inlet (venturi) and burner as described in the Care and Maintenance section of the manual.

How to fix the burner if it will not light using the igniter procedure on my Dyna-Glo Grill?
    • R
      ronniedickersonAug 17, 2025
If the burner on your Dyna-Glo Grill won't light using the igniter, it could be due to several reasons. First, the igniter electrode may be covered with grease or residue, so cleaning the igniter electrode may help. Also, the igniter electrode may have a loose or disconnected wire; check the connection and reconnect any loose or disconnected wires. A cracked or broken ignition electrode can also prevent ignition, in which case you should replace the ignition electrode.

Why does my Dyna-Glo DGF481CRP Grill have excessive flare ups?
    • R
      Robert WalkerAug 23, 2025
Excessive flare-ups on your Dyna-Glo Grill can occur due to grease or residue buildup on heat tents or in the firebox. Cleaning these grill components can help. Also, too much fat or marinade dripping from food can cause flare-ups. Trim the fat from meat and use non-oil-based marinades. Finally, make sure that the cooking temperature isn't too high; lower it as needed.

Why is the heat so low on my Dyna-Glo DGF481CRP?
    • J
      Julie WhiteAug 29, 2025
If you're experiencing low heat on your Dyna-Glo Grill, it could be due to insufficient gas pressure to the unit. It is recommended to call a qualified service agency to check the gas supply pressure and correct the pressure.

What to do if there is no gas flow on my Dyna-Glo Grill?
    • H
      Holly McdanielSep 4, 2025
If you're experiencing no gas flow or an obstructed gas flow in your Dyna-Glo Grill, first, ensure the tank valve is fully opened by turning it counterclockwise. If that's not the issue, check the fuel level and replace the fuel if necessary, as the tank might be empty. A poor connection between the valve regulator and LP cylinder coupling could also be the problem; turn off the grill knobs, close the LP cylinder valve, and check the connection, disconnecting and reconnecting if needed. Lastly, a blocked burner inlet could be the cause; clean the burner inlet (venturi) and burner as described in the Care and Maintenance section of the manual.
