What to do if my Dyna-Glo DGL260SNP burner will not light with a match?
    • P
      penamartinJul 29, 2025
If the burner on your Dyna-Glo Griddle won't light with a match, consider these possibilities: 1. The match might not be close enough to the burner ports. Position the match closer. 2. The propane tank might be empty. Replace it with a new cylinder. 3. There could be a poor connection between the propane cylinder and the regulator assembly. Turn off the griddle knob and then disconnect and reconnect the propane cylinder to the regulator assembly. 4. The burner inlet might be blocked. Clean the burner inlet (venturi) and burner as described by the Care and Maintenance section in the manual.

      Terry FitzgeraldAug 3, 2025
If the burner on your Dyna-Glo Griddle won't light using the igniter, it could be due to a weak or nonexistent spark. Here's what to check: * The igniter electrode might be covered with grease or residue. Clean the igniter electrode. * The igniter electrode may have a loose or disconnected wire. Check the connection and reconnect any loose or disconnected wires. * The ignition electrode may be cracked or broken. Replace the ignition electrode (see Replacement Parts List).

    • T
      Troy SmithAug 15, 2025
If you're experiencing no gas flow or an obstructed gas flow with your Dyna-Glo Griddle, here are a few things to check: 1. The propane tank could be empty. Check the fuel level and replace the fuel if necessary. 2. There might be a poor connection between the valve regulator and LP cylinder coupling. Turn off the griddle knobs, close the LP cylinder valve at the top of the cylinder, and check the connection between the regulator valve and cylinder coupling. Disconnect and reconnect if necessary. 3. The burner inlet could be blocked. Clean the burner inlet (venturi) and burner as described by the Care and Maintenance section in the manual.
