What to do if Dyna-Glo Electric Heater is not heating?
    • L
      Luis PhillipsJul 28, 2025
If your Dyna-Glo Electric Heater isn't heating, it could be due to several reasons. First, the overheat protection might have activated. Inspect the heater to ensure that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked, as this can cause overheating. Switch off the circuit breaker for 30 minutes to allow the unit to cool down, then turn the power back on. Another possibility is that the breaker has tripped; if so, reset the breaker at the fuse panel and restart the heater. Finally, the room temperature might have reached the set thermostat temperature. In this case, adjust the temperature setting to ensure it is higher than the current room temperature.

Why does my Dyna-Glo Electric Heater smell like it's burning?
    • M
      Michael HesterAug 13, 2025
If your Dyna-Glo Electric Heater emits a burning smell, it could be due to dust or oil debris gathered on the heating coils during production. Ensure the room is well-ventilated and allow the heater to run until the smell dissipates. Also, check that there is no combustible material within 0.9 meters (3 feet) of the heater and remove any such material. Note that the heater must be mounted at least 8 feet off the floor; relocate the heater if needed, ensuring sufficient space between it, the wall, and the floor.
