What to do if Dyna-Glo Electric Heater is not heating?
    • A
      Alicia GardnerJul 29, 2025
If your Dyna-Glo electric heater isn't heating, it could be due to several reasons. First, the overheat protection might have activated; inspect the heater to ensure that air inlets and outlets are not blocked. If they are, clear the blockage, switch off the circuit breaker for 30 minutes to allow the heater to cool, then turn it back on. Second, the breaker may have tripped; reset it at the fuse panel and restart the heater. Finally, the room temperature might have reached the set thermostat temperature; in that case, adjust the temperature setting to be higher than the current room temperature.

Why does my Dyna-Glo Electric Heater emit a burning smell?
    • D
      Dalton MullenAug 13, 2025
A burning smell from your Dyna-Glo electric heater can occur for a few reasons. Initially, dust or oil debris may have gathered on the heating coils during production. Ensure the room is well-ventilated and allow the heater to run until the smell dissipates. Also, check that there are no combustible materials within 0.9 meters (3 feet) of the heater and remove them if there are. This heater must be mounted at least 8 feet off the floor; relocate the heater if needed to ensure sufficient clearance from walls and the floor.
