Remove the stock ignition location under the seat by unbolting the rear of the main seat.
Turn ignition key OFF, remove two screws retaining the ignitor box, and unplug harness plugs.
Set initial advance mode to #1 and rev limit to 6000 RPM for a baseline.
Plug in the two harness connectors and mount the Dyna 3000 module to the stock location.
Start the bike to verify operation; check connections and fuses if trouble occurs.
Complete the installation by replacing the seat.
