This document is an instruction manual for the E-GLIDE MACH10 electric scooter, covering its operation, maintenance, and warranty information.

Function Description:

The E-GLIDE MACH10 is an electric scooter designed for personal transportation. It features a foldable design for portability and ease of storage. The scooter is equipped with a display that shows speed, battery indicator, and mileage. It offers multiple speed modes and has a throttle lever for acceleration control. Safety is emphasized with recommendations for wearing protective gear during use.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Speed Modes: The scooter has at least one speed mode, indicated as L1 (15-20 km/h).
  • Battery Voltage: The battery stops output when the voltage drops to 48V, indicating a nominal voltage likely around 52V or 60V.
  • Charging Temperature: Optimal charging temperature is between 5°C and 40°C.
  • Tire Pressure: Recommended tire pressure is 50 PSI.
  • Warranty Periods:
    • Motor: 12 months (free repair)
    • Display/Throttle: 3 months (free repair)
    • Controller: 12 months (free repair)
    • Charger: 3 months (free repair)
    • Battery: 6 months (free repair - malfunction only, does not cover deterioration of performance)

Usage Features:

  • Unfolding:
    1. Unlock the clamp.
    2. Lift the steerer tube.
    3. Lock the clamp.
  • Folding:
    1. Turn power off.
    2. Unlock the clamp.
    3. Lower the steerer tube.
  • Power Button: Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn the scooter on or off. The scooter will auto-power off after 90 seconds of inactivity.
  • Change Speed Modes: With the scooter powered on, press the power button to cycle through modes. L1 indicates mode 1 (15-20 km/h).
  • Headlights: Hold the mode button for 3 seconds to turn headlights on or off.
  • Battery Indicator: Displays remaining charge with bars.
  • Mileage Display: When powered on, ODO (odometer) is displayed. Press the power button to display TRIP, and again to display VOLTAGE. To reset TRIP data, press the mode button for 3 seconds when TRIP is displayed.
  • Acceleration Control: The throttle lever controls acceleration. A slight pull results in lower acceleration, while a strong pull results in faster acceleration.
  • Charging:
    1. Power the scooter off.
    2. Connect the charger to the scooter.
    3. Plug the charger into a power socket and turn it on.
    4. The scooter is fully charged when the light on the charger turns from green to red.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft cloth. Avoid using a hose or getting the scooter wet. Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive chemical solutions.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or outdoor elements.
  • Battery Maintenance:
    • Only use the supplied battery and original charger.
    • Do not dismantle or puncture the battery.
    • Fully charge the battery after each use to prolong its life.
    • Avoid exposing the battery to temperatures higher than 50°C or lower than -20°C.
    • If storing for more than 30 days, fully charge the battery first, and then fully charge it every 60 days during storage.
  • Disc Brake Adjustment: If the disc rubs against the brake pads, use an M5 hex wrench to adjust the cable holder on the caliper. Reduce cable feeding to stop rubbing. If pads don't grip enough, increase cable feeding.
  • Steerer Tube Wobble Adjustment: If the steerer tube wobbles, tighten the locks on the clamp.
  • Tire Inflation: Remove the valve cap, attach a pump nozzle, and inflate to 50 PSI.

Safety Precautions:

  • Always wear safety gear (helmet, knee/elbow pads).
  • Obey local laws and be courteous to other road users.
  • Do not ride in the rain or on wet surfaces, as this is dangerous and can damage the scooter.
  • Designed for one person at a time.

Warranty Information:

  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
  • Warranties are processed through the retailer where the product was purchased.
  • The warranty does not cover tires, brake pads, handlebar grips, and plastic decorative covers.
  • The warranty is voided by:
    • Failure to regularly service or maintain the scooter.
    • Damage from misuse, traffic accidents, or collisions.
    • Damage from environmental factors (rain, excessive sunlight).
    • Damage from riding on rough/uneven surfaces or performing stunts.
    • Unauthorized modifications or tampering.
    • Malicious damage or rough intent.
    • Battery overheating or storage outside recommended temperatures.
    • Water ingress.
    • Damage from natural disaster or irresistible force.
