  If your E-one Water Pump is not operating and the alarm is on, there could be several reasons. First, check the voltage at the alarm panel and ensure it matches the voltage listed on the pump's nameplate, staying within a 10% range (216V to 264V). If you're using 208V, you'll need a buck boost transformer to increase the power to 240V. Another potential cause is a plugged equalizer tube, so inspect it to ensure it's not crimped or pinched. Also, check the tank for sufficient fluid to operate the pump. The pump operation depends on the water level inside the tank. Insufficient fluid may indicate a problem with the alarm wiring, alarm sensing line, or alarm switch. See Chapter 7 – Level Sensor.

  If the E-one Water Pump is running but not pumping and the alarm is on, it could be due to a blocked discharge line, a worn stator, or a leak in the pump discharge assembly. First, check the amperage. If it's high (8 amps or higher), turn off the pump and inspect the discharge line for blockages. Disconnect the discharge piping and recycle the fluid in the tank to confirm the pump isn't damaged. Turn the pump back on and check the amperage again. If it remains high, replace the pump. If the amperage is low (4.9 amps or less), the pump must be pulled and the Stator (and possibly the Rotor) replaced, or the leaking discharge line repaired. Determine and correct the cause of the Stator and/or Rotor failure before reinstallation.

  If the E-one Water Pump is not operating and the alarm is on, start by checking the voltage at a location nearest the pump, such as the junction box or electrical quick disconnect (EQD) plug. The correct voltage is listed on the pump nameplate, and it must be within 10 percent of the nameplate voltage (207 to 264V for a 230 - 240V pump). You can also perform a continuity check. Inspect the electrical controls and replace any wet or corroded components. Also, test the controls.
